COOKING WITH JIM

[Jim & Isabel at Cooking Class] [French Dinner Table Setting] [Jim at Thanksgiving]

As far back as I can remember, I have always enjoyed cooking. I must have inherited this from my mother, Dorothy. She enjoyed trying out new recipes on dinner guests which at times can be rather dangerous, but most of the time her recipes turned out successfully. I too enjoy surprising my guests with new dishes.

Now that I have retired and live in Ajijic Mexico, I have much more time to experiment. For three years, along with friend Doreen, we offered Auction Dinners as a fundraiser for Programa Ninos pro Incapacitados. Take a look at these Auction Dinner Menus (with links to recipes):

Since living in Mexico I've had an opportunity to attend several different gourment cooking classes taught by internationally known chefs, including the famous Mexican Chef: Diana Kennedy Cooking Class

Now I would like to share with you some of my favorite recipes. If you try any of these, let me know how they turn out. And if you have favorites of your own, send them my way and possibly they'll end up on these web pages.
